Party Planning Tips for Tight Budgets
December 23rd, 2011
There’s a good reason why children’s birthday parties are often held in the afternoons, and it has nothing to do with the tykes’ nap times. Your children’s birthday parties should be planned on a budget, even if you intend to purchase branded kids party supplies for the event. Your children’s guests will likely come with chaperons, so if you don’t intend to serve full course meals to your adult guests, then you’d better schedule the party hours before dinnertime. Your guests won’t expect course meals if the party starts at two in the afternoon and ends at five. Refer to the celebration as a dessert party on the invites to dispel confusion or expectations.
