Much like its predecessor the Canon 550D
July 30th, 2011
Much like its predecessor the Canon 550D, the Live Focus button is still hard to find. However, the Canon 550D review reads that the camera supports focusing in video mode by pressing the shutter halfway. The photo quality is considered excellent and displayed accurate colors with a much higher resolution than a traditional LCD could produce. The Canon 550D can record and produce over 4GB of continuous video, or a maximum of 29 minutes and 59 seconds, in MOV format encoded in H.264. Movie videos taken can be cropped in the non-traditional and even useful component, without the telephoto lens.
