Front Covers of the 2 Volume Easton Press
edition
|
|
This is one of the most beautiful editions of Gone With the Wind that
you'll find. It was published in 1968 by Easton Press, Norwalk, Conn. It contains
illustrations by John Groth in black-and-white, as well as color. Some illustrations are
full page and some span two full pages.
The binding is a bluish gray leather with raised hubs on the spine.
Beautiful gilt designs appear on the front and back covers as well as the spine. Each
volume has an attached cloth bookmark, and gilt-edged pages.

Volume one also contains an introduction by Henry Steele Commager. This is
a very hansome edition! |
